In June, some of the Michael Hyatt & Company team signed up for our first month-long mindfulness challenge. Folks meditated every day and reported back in a special Slack channel on what worked and didn’t work for them, and whether or not they found it worthwhile.

The reason behind why they don’t appear to be down about life is because they already have learnt that genuine pleasure comes from within.
If you also want to be really happy from the inside you must learn to love yourself and understand the reality you are also a person and you are not perfect. Once you understand that you are guaranteed to make a few mistakes you then have to find out how to recover positively from all the mistakes you made.
True happiness goes hand in hand with happiness. In order to reduce the likelihood of you being depressed you have to be content with what you have. Be happy about your family, your work place, your home and the some stuff you own. In other words be happy with what you have and appreciate it.
Life has 2 sides to it, things that are good to us and things that are bad. One may either do right or do wrong, you can either win or lose and you will either pass or fail at something you are doing. What is important is how we take in every situation that happens to us. If something not good happens to you don’t take it serious and let it make you depressed, instead you should learn from it to make you an improved person.
Being really happy is not identified by the number of nice stuff that happen to you. You will find people who have lots of money but still feel depressed, additionally you get people who have won lots of awards but are still not really happy with their achievements.
In order to be happy from within at all times you have to learn how to live with your faults and those of others. Know to forgive others and move on from things that are not good for your thoughts. And most importantly learn to love one another because the more love you give the more you will receive.
